[mashshare]Officers respond to a domestic call in which a woman has been assaulted. As soon as police enter the room, they are faced down by a man with a gun.
Deputies from Oconee County respond to a domestic call. They are told by the victim that the man is barricaded in the room with a weapon, and that he won’t go quietly. The victim does not tell the officers what kind of weapon the man has, but when they open the door the suspect racks a round into a handgun.
Without hesitation, one of the deputies moves directly into the line of fire and discharges his weapon to stop the threat.
