Whenever people make comparisons between anti-gunners and the Nazi’s, I usually shake my head. Nothing turns fence sitters off like a Nazi comparison.
That said, I’m having a really hard time coming up with a better comparison in this case:
Gun control advocates want to prevent sale of gun magazines (print publications, periodicals, not ammo feeding devices) in grocery stores… Nothing quite says “totally irrational fear of guns” like demanding grocery stores stop selling gun magazines does.
“Line up them evil magazines and burn ’em”
Can I please just point out that no gun magazine I have ever read, and I have been reading them for 30+ years, has EVER “glorified violence.” If I am missing all the glorified violence in these magazines, can someone please point it out to me. I thought I had a pretty good idea what violence was, but maybe a career as a cop has desensitized me more than I thought.
