As a gun owner, as a conservative, as a cop who believes in the ENTIRE Bill of Rights, living in the state of California has always been difficult. Well, as of July 1, 2016, the liberal law makers and our senile ex-hippie governor just made it unbearable.
On Friday, when news that Moonbeam signed these bills into law, I tried to sit down and put something coherent together, but I was too pissed, and to be quite honest, depressed to do that. I had to sleep on it so I could gather my thoughts. I got up before sunrise yesterday morning and put this together. I talk about the bills that were signed, and just as importantly I address the bills vetoed, and what effect, if any, these bills could possibly have on violent crime.
On a related note, a few weeks ago, during a public hearing in the CA state capital, several law makers, the ones responsible for crafting these 2nd amendment infringements, took it upon themselves to chastise the people who opposed them. One of those lawmakers stepped way over the line, and I could not let it go.
Folks, these people have gone crazy. They are power drunk. There is no logical reason to push any of these laws that they write, and you can see by their behavior what they think of us little people. It is well past time to start pushing back.
